I must confess!
I work every weekday. I seldom miss church. I don’t tell BIG lies. I pay my bills before the due date. I don’t cheat on my taxes. Sounds like a person who deserves a little indulgence, right? Right.
One day a month, I scurry home from school, jump into a hot tub of water, shave my legs, and slip off to see Barbara, the most amazing massage therapist imaginable. That woman possesses a magic touch in her hands and fingers. And, I never regret a single dollar that it costs me.
A little piece of heaven!
Everything in my therapy room is perfect. I quickly slide out of my sweat pants and sweat shirt (no under clothes!) and place them in a dainty, feminine looking chair in the corner. The dimly lit room is warm and has a faint, pleasant smelling essence. Trickling water fountains and soft music help to bring a peaceful ambience to the room.
Climbing onto the cushioned table covered with soft, fresh smelling linens, I position my face into a doughnut hole extending beyond the head of the table. I slide the loose sheet over my bare bottom and wait for Barbara’s soft knock to announce the beginning of the much anticipated ritual.

In my opinion, massages run the gamut from feel good (and they do!) rub downs to therapeutic health sessions which address specific aches, pains, and stress points. Barbara knows her stuff! Plaques and diplomas of achievement cover the walls of her waiting room. One of her numerous certifications is Reflexology.
What is Reflexology? Beats me. All I know is that she spends 30-45 minutes administering Reflexology techniques on my feet and I love it! In fact, I melt off to sleep during every session.
Are You Tempted?
If all this were not enough, imagine large, warm, smooth stones being placed on the small of your back or the base or your neck while your feet and legs are being massaged with softly scented moisturizers. Give it a try. Pamper yourself. You deserve it.
Warning: Massages ARE addictive!
