The colors in the layers of this salad are beautiful and appetizing! This salad is perfect to carry to pot lucks or church socials! No one will guess how QUICK and EASY it was to throw together!
Seven Layer Salad
Layer 1: Lettuce, 1 or 1 1/2 inches (bite sized pieces)
Layer 2: Celery, sliced or chopped
Layer 3: Green pepper, sliced or chopped
Layer 4: Purple onion, sliced or chopped
Layer 5: One can English peas, drained
Layer 6: Hellmann's mayonnaise
Layer 7: One inch layer of parmesan cheese.
Optional: Bacon bits sprinkled on top
Cover with Saran Wrap. Refrigerate. Let set at least 4 hours to marinate.
